FAQs

Big Easy Pour Policies

 Are you insured?

Big Easy Pour carries general liability and liquor insurance.

Do you have service minimums?

There are no hourly or service minimums. We will do as much -or as little- as you’d like us to.

Bartenders

How many bartenders do I need?

It is recommended that there is 1 bartender for every 75 guests so that there are not long lines at your bar and each guest can be served at reasonable speeds.

What do bartenders wear?

Bartenders wear black slacks with belts, slip grip shoes, black vests, black or white buttoned shirts and Big Easy Pour Name Tags

Are bartenders certified?

All bartenders are TABC certified and carry TABC certifications on them while attending events either on their person or on their phone.

Deposit

Is there a deposit or retainer required?

Yes. 25% of your event total is required as your deposit and serves as your retainer to hold your date. 

Are deposits and retainers refundable?

Partially. Retainers and Deposits are completely refundable within in 72 hours of booking your event IF your event is less than a month away. If your event is more than a month away your retainer & deposit are refundable up to two weeks. Events booked last minute, same day or immediate weekend are none refundable.

Payment Options & Payment Plans

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. After your retainer is paid 50% of your remaining event total is due 2 weeks before your event. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your event. 

Note: You can pay as frequently as you’d like. We take early payments.

Note: A credit card is needed to hold your reservation. 

How can I make payments?

Once you receive your invoice just click pay. If you wish to pay an invoice earlier than the specified payment schedule please use your emailed invoice or email us and we will send an updated payment request. 

Bar Packages

What is included in my bar package?

Cups, beverage napkins, straws, garnishes (limes, lemons & cherries), and mixers (club soda, cranberry juice, orange juice and pineapple juice – NO SODA) are included in all packages. 

We also bring all bar tools and bar supplies.

Note: Ice can be added to any package.

Do you provide alcohol, beer or wine?

You will purchase and provide your own alcohol, beer or wine. 

Note: We can pick up and deliver your liquor purchase for an additional fee. (Please see Lagniappe options)

How much liquor, beer or wine do I need to provide?

During your consultation we will offer a liquor menu for your event that accounts for guests, their drinking capacity and your budget.

What do I need to provide?

Mixers – Most mixers are included. Please see a full list of which mixers are included in your package above. We DO NOT provide any soda or carbonated beverages i.e. (Coca Cola, Sprite, Diet Pepsi, 7 Up or Dr. Pepper). 

Security – Security of our staff is mandatory. If an environment, customer, party guest or situation is deemed dangerous we will leave and/or call the police. Full payment of service is non-refundable if we must leave.

Full Instructions – Booking party or representative must provide full details including bar location, hours of bar operation, changes in direction, updates to menu and any other pertinent details. If instructions are not provided then Big Easy Pour will assume authority working with venue and booking party representatives for the best outcome and smoothest flow of the event. 

Venue Policies – If your selected venue has any bar or serving policies it is your responsibility to provide those to Big Easy Pour at least 72 hours before your event.
